Effects of Interactions Between Soil Texture and Grazing on Ecosystem Structure and Function (LT32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 54)

Objective: To evaluate the aggradation and degradation of ecosystem structure and function in response to long-term grazing by cattle.

Methods: Portions of current exclosures (approximately half) will be opened up for grazing, and new areas will be excluded (approximately 1-2 hectares). In 1991 baseline sampling was conducted in each of the seven exclosures and at n adjacent location outside the exclosure.
